Be in the Moment with Blooming Lotus Yoga
Breathe In, Breathe Out
How We Got Here
I am a qualified prenatal, postnatal and mother & baby yoga teacher. I trained with Sally Parkes and the course I completed is fully certified by FEDANT and Yoga Alliance Professionals UK. I teach classes in Hornchurch and the surrounding areas. I loved practising pregnancy yoga throughout my pregnancy with my son, now 12.
Pregnancy yoga is very different from traditional forms of yoga, it helps to nurture the mother and gently prepare her for the birth and beyond. Pregnancy yoga classes are suitable from 13 weeks right up until the birth and no previous experience of yoga is required.
Our pregnancy yoga classes are warm and welcoming and a great place to meet other mums-to-be. Mum's often continue to meet up after their little ones have arrived and go on to join our Postnatal and Mother & Baby yoga classes together.
Classes We Offer
Spend Some Time With Us
Prenatal yoga classes are designed specifically to enhance and nurture your experience of pregnancy. During the classes we explore a range of yoga postures, guided relaxations and breathing techniques to support your pregnancy, soothe any discomfort, relieve any stress or anxiety and help ease you through the daily changes occurring as your baby develops.
Even if you've never practised yoga before it is one of the best exercises you can do during your pregnancy and helps in preparation for labour.
To create a nurturing space for women to restore their energy, gain a sense of belonging and recover from pregnancy, birth and day to day mothering.
The focus with postnatal yoga is to use gentle exercise and breathing techniques to regain physical recovery, restoring strength, muscle tone, re-stabilise the pelvis and lower back, enjoy relaxation and develop a closer bond with your baby.
Can be practiced from 6 weeks postnatal (10-12 weeks if medical intervention). Babies are brought along to class and can be fed or changed whenever needed.
Mother & Baby Yoga
Both mother and baby are exercised and entertained in this gorgeous yoga class.
This class will improve your core strength, reduce stress and is great for spending quality time with your little one. The baby yoga is gentle and helps to ease colic, aids good sleep and supports your babies natural development.
Suitable for mums with babies aged 6 weeks (10-12 weeks if medical intervention) to sitting/crawling. The environment is relaxed and you can feed/change baby whenever you need to.
